*PRESS RELATIONS
MARKETING /PROMOTIONS
COPYWRITING*

As the Director of Entertainment Marketing for Ten Ton Media and Orex Entertainment Electronics, Christina Z is no stranger to the power of music and media when promoting a brand. She has over 10 years of experience as an entertainment industry veteran, leading her to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies spanning TV, film, media, sponsorships, direct mail and PR.

Her talent to recognize marketing opportunities and strategies came early on when she worked directly under marketing guru Dick Biersch as they developed campaigns for his son, Gordon, with the opening one of most successful brewery franchises and wineries targeted to the 21-35 demographic. She worked closely with partners of award-winning branding firm, Speer, Young & Hollander.

Christina also took many facets of promotional design from working with Haruo Yoshikawa, the General Manager of one of Japan's largest electronic manufacturers who allowed Christina to negotiate deals with Hallmark and the Consumer Electronics Show.

Praised as keeping a finger on the pulse of young adult culture, Christina Z. has created branding and promotions often called "insider cool" and "cool for the elite".

*JOURNALISM*

URB MAGAZINE - Los Angeles, CA
Worldwide Circulation
* Features
* Columnist - Da Scoop Rave Column
* Column Editor
* Reviews

Christina Z. joined URB Magazine on Issue 1, when she wrote her first review of what would be the beginning of the Rave Culture in Los Angeles and would continue covering such events for 4 full years to come! Working full-time in marketing and then sneaking out to the seedy warehouses of Downtown, Christina Z. created what other journalists called a "secret rave language" in her writings to keep those in the know informed and those who hoped to shut raves down, in the dark.

Her monthly column, Da Scoop, gained infamy and respect throughout the United States, England, Germany and Spain. At this time in history, there was no other writer covering the raves as comprehensively as Christina Z.

She also interviewed many seminal electronic acts at the time not only for her extensive knowledge of electronic music history but that she was one of very few who could understand the various regional accents (Bristol, Lancashire, Cockney) of many of the artists.

She has interviewed and broken bread with too many acts to list but including Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Meat Beast Manifesto, The Orb, Orbital, The Crystal Method, 808 State, The Shamen, Utah Saints, Nine Inch Nails, and Loop Guru.

Part of this cutting-edge lifestyle is what led Christina toward her love of youth culture and all things hip, if even for the moment as true marketing genius is often birthed on the streets from the kids then tweaked to perfection by the professionals.

*VIDEO GAMES*

Christina Z. has developed and designed backstories, gameplay, game mechanics, hidden features and story editing for some very popular video games. She has done work with Eidos, Player One, Virgin Interactive and many others.

Video games, marketing and comic books go hand in hand so it's only natural that she'd take a dip in this pool, too.

MERCHANDISING

Many beautiful things have been made from the character Christina Z. helped create. I am proud to say that most if not all the Witchblade merchandise has been made high-quality, thusly demanding a higher price fans were happy to pay for life-long enjoyment.

This talented gentleman makes the actual Witchblade gauntlet and jewelry.

Wrote and designed full set of first run of Witchblade trading cards to include trivia, games, puzzle and secret messages.
